The Founder President of the organization, Mr. Marutirao Salunkhe, has carried out remarkable social work in the New Sangvi area. His wife, Mrs. Surekha Tai Salunkhe, established Rajmata Foundation<\/em> in 2003 as a voluntary organization to empower women and implement various social initiatives.<\/p>

From 2002 to 2010, she represented her area as a Corporator in the Pimpri-Chinchwad Municipal Corporation. In 2002, she served as Chairperson of the Women and Child Welfare Committee. She introduced the concept of a weekly market for women\u2019s self-help groups for the first time in the city. She also worked as a Ward Committee Chairperson and served for five years as a member of the Legal Committee. Additionally, she worked in the Standing Committee, one of the most important committees of the Municipal Corporation.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
